The Most Beautiful Islands...

Geoff finds his inspiration for his landscape paintings from what he calls ‘The Most Beautiful Islands’ in the world. He loves to take a short holiday with his family here in the UK, well where better! He says. Armed with his camera, he’ll take reference from such areas as Scotland, ,Wales, The Yorkshire Dales and not forgetting beauty spots that can be found here in his native Lancashire.

Draws me back to Paint...

Frequent visits to a favourite area in the UK, will always draw me back to paint.

On occasion he uses oil on canvas or board, but predominately paints in gouache and acrylics. He also regularly uses watercolours, and says that it is a medium he enjoy thoroughly. He also draws in graphite pencil and Rotring pen.

Geoff’s fertile imagination, a degree of photographic memory and reference photographs are all he needs to build up your unique and original paintings.
